Summer Eating out in Jersey
12.08.16 Back
If you are thinking about a place to eat in Jersey this summer, you may initially think of the beach. But for a more continental feel, you shouldn’t exclude one of St. Helier’s great town restaurants. Banjo is a European-style grand brasserie located next to the main outdoor food market in an historic quarter.
The Dining Room and Brasserie, each with their own individual style, offer lunch and dinner for up to 120 people. The Banjo Bar, with its stunning atrium roof, can accommodate 60 guests for drinks, cocktails, bar snacks and lighter meals.
Located in a recently converted 10,000 sq ft Victorian Gentlemen’s Club, Banjo is regularly recommended as the best restaurant in St. Helier by our customers. Our summer menus have something for everyone from our huge Tomahawk Steak Rib, daily changing fish specials such as local Brill with asparagus, sautéed potatoes, cherry tomatoes and wild garlic salsa or plenty of vegetarian and vegan dishes. We cater to all dietary requirements and our extensive menu indicates which dishes are suitable for those following ‘free from’ diets such as gluten free and dairy free. We also have a separate allergen menu which highlights the 14 main allergens contained in all of our dishes.
