If you’ve been saving a special bottle for just the right occasion, we’ve got great news: Wine Wednesdays are here. Every Wednesday at Banjo and Oyster Box, you can bring your own wine and enjoy it alongside our beautifully crafted menus, with corkage charged at just £20 per bottle.
Whether it’s a rare vintage, a sentimental bottle from your travels, or a special gift you’ve been waiting to uncork, there’s no better way to enjoy it than with exceptional food, expert service, and a stunning setting.
Making the most of Wine Wednesdays
To ensure your wine is at its very best, we’ll provide everything you need – corkscrews and ice buckets – but here are some expert tips to prepare your bottle before you dine:
For wines with sediment – Decant at home to allow it to breathe, then carefully pour back into the bottle before bringing it with you.
For white wines and Champagne – We’ll have ice buckets at the ready to keep your bottle perfectly chilled.
Pair your bottle with the perfect dish – Not sure what to order? Our team is happy to recommend dishes that complement your wine.
FAQs
Corkage will be charged at £20 per bottle. You can bring as many bottles as you like, but please note that we unfortunately are not able to store/chill your wine in advance of your meal, and that a maximum table stay applies. Please also note that we operate a responsible drinking policy.
Our approach for other reservations will apply and you will have your table for a minimum of two hours. After this time, we may need to request that you vacate the table if another party has booked, or for staffing reasons.
We recommend taking the opportunity to bring a special bottle, but you are welcome to bring any wine you like.
